Job Description:
QA Testing Lead
• Understand project scope, goals and deliverables thatsupport business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
• Effectively communicate project expectations to teammembers and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
• Develop the test plan for the tasks, dependencies andparticipants required to mitigate the risks to system quality and obtainstakeholder support for this plan
• Identify Training requirements and forward it to theProject Manager (Technical and other skills)
• Estimate and obtain management support for the time,resources and budget required to perform the testing
• Assign task to all Testing Team members and ensure thatall of them have sufficient work in the project
• Ensure content and structure of all testing documents /artifacts is documented and maintained
• Document, implement, monitor, and enforce all processesfor testing as per standards defined by the organization
• Check / Review the Test Cases documents
• Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within theproject team
• Set and continually manage project expectations withteam members and other stakeholders
• Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
• Track project milestones and deliverables
• Track and prepare the report of testing activities liketesting results, test case coverage, required resources, defects discovered andtheir status, performance baselines etc.
• Keep track of the new requirements / change inrequirements of the Project
• Escalate the issues about project requirements(Software, Hardware, Resources) to Project Manager/ Management
• Organize the status meetings and send the Status Report(Daily, Weekly etc.) to required stakeholders
• Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project teammembers and contractors, and influence them to take positive action andaccountability for their assigned work
• Act as the single point of contact between Developmentand Testers
• Prepares / updates the metrics dashboard at the end of aphase or at the completion of project
• Involve in validation process on need basis
Requirement:
• 7+ yrs. experience in a QA Lead, Test Lead capacity
• Proficient in testing methodologies
• Hands on in using test management and bug tracking tools
• Should be able to do test planning and execution
• Prepare comprehensive status reports
• Experience in performance testing
• Strong ability of team management and reporting
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail with superior written, verbal, andproblem solving skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Knowledge in SDLC
• Knowledge in 21 CFR Part 11
• Experience on test automation is an added advantage
